Eva Cassidy did a great version of this song. That's her playing guitar, too.
I hear the drizzle of the rain
Like a memory it falls
Soft and warm, continuing
tapping on my roof and walls
From the shelter of my mind
through the window of my eyes
I gaze beyond the rain drenched streets
To you, where my heart lies
My mind's distracted and diffused
my thoughts are many miles away
they lie with you when youre asleep
and kiss you when you start your day
So you see I have come to doubt
All that I once held was true
I stand alone without belief
the only truth I know is you
And as I watch the drops of rain
weave their weary paths and die
I know that I am like the rain
there, but for the grace of you, go I

I dunno, Its a Simon and Garfunkel song...I would have renamed it "Sarah's Song" if I could have ;)
I love love love this song, and Eva Cassidy is one of my all time fave singers. Remember her Fields of Gold rendition? Just beautiful.
i love this song because it's beautiful, AND because they spelt her name the right way, like mine.
Beautiful. very, very beautiful.
I love when a song has good lyrics that can be read on their own & still move. This is the type of poetry I always wished I could write....beautiful & poignant & simple, just stunning, really. I like that you like this....since I like too, you have excellent taste.
